I was pleasantly surprised by the quiet and cozy rooms located at the back of the hotel, providing a peaceful stay. However, I did face some challenges with the room being too hot at times and having a bit of a grubby feel. The service was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making my stay enjoyable. The hotel's central location near Acadia was a definite highlight for exploring the city easily.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were not as clean as expected and seemed unprepared from the previous guests, which was disappointing. However, the service staff were attentive and helpful. The location was excellent for exploring the city, but the dining options were limited and not clearly presented. Overall, it was a decent stay with some room for improvement.
I stayed at the hotel in the Ermitage building, which had some dated aspects like the hall carpeting and walls, but overall the room was spacious and comfortable. Despite the room not looking like the pictures on the website and having a bad smell, the double beds were a plus. Being located just behind the reception area caused some noise disturbances, although I had requested parking in advance and was told there was none available.

Being street-facing made them a bit noisy, especially in the early evening, and the proximity to the front door was both convenient and bothersome at times. The location was good, with easy access to Old Quebec, the Citadel, and bustling Rue Sainte Jean, though the guidance provided was not the most helpful. The service was friendly and helpful overall, except for a minor communication hiccup regarding luggage assistance. Dining options were limited and somewhat disappointing, with only basic food available. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel did offer paid valet parking and tours/ticket assistance, enhancing the overall experience.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room had a romantic ambiance but was cut in half with an unnecessary Murphy bed. Unfortunately, it didn't match the charming rooms shown online, and we experienced a flood that affected our stay. Despite these issues, the location was amazing as we could walk to the New Year's celebration on Grand Allee.
The hotel was adequate and clean, but the rooms even shook with the steps of people above, which was awkward while sleeping. The room was a little dirty when we arrived. The staff was amazingly friendly and welcoming, offering no basic compensation, but they were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is the only positive point, being in the center of Old Quebec, but it hardly outweighs the many negatives. The dining required a payment of 12 dollars per day but was worth the walk. The facilities were hard to communicate with due to the staff being French.
